To W.A Envirosmart Water Tanks,
Hello,
I don't know if you remember me. We purchased a half acre block and house south of Perth last year. It already had a bore set-up on the property and you had a hard time convincing me that a rainwater tank would make any difference. Now that we have the 9000 litre tank I am starting to understand that bore water is not the immediate solution. Apart from the value the tank has added to the property, and the fact that the water doesn't leave bloody rust stains all over the house, I would rather empty the rain tank before using the bore. The rain water is truly free, but the bore does come at a cost. The main one being that it is not an endless supply. It seems stupid to just take from our reserves when you can trap the water for free in a tank. On that point you were spot on.
Thanks and cheers,
I Jago

Brendon,
Just a quick thank you for your efforts in installing our water tank. As I told you, I had been thinking about doing it myself for quite a while. I have a few friends in the plumbing game and thought it would be pretty easy to do it myself. However, after pricing out all the bits and pieces, I realized it would cost me just as much to get it done as it would to get your company to do it. I was still tossing up whether I had made the right decision on the day you installed the tank. All I can say is thank god I didn't go ahead and do it on my own. What took you half a day would have taken me a week or more. One thing for sure, my mates would not have done all the digging and the plumbing alone would have set us back a tidy sum.
Thanks again for the landscaping job, it looks a lot better than the dead corner that used to be there. The system is working great and thanks to a few days of rain we have about a half a tank ready to go. I will think a bit more about your idea of putting another tank next to the driveway. As you said, the run off is very heavy on that side of the house and I think it may be a good idea to trap a bit of that water. Please thank Adam and Damien for their good work and we will almost certainly see you next year for another tank.
Yours sincerely,
Richard Murphy.

Dear Brendan,
We recently purchased a five thousand litre water tank from WA Environsmart which was installed on our yard in November. I can't believe the difference the larger tank has made. A few years ago I, myself installed a 2500 litre tank, purchased from the leading WA Hardware chain, which I was assured would cover all of our watering needs. It quickly became apparent that the smaller capacity wasn't big enough to get us through the long hot dry spells. It could keep my roses alive, but that's about it. We found that we eventually returned entirely to main water which made the small tank redundant.
The new 5000 litre tank filled pretty in the early December rains and we still have 30% left. We have had no rain for more than 40 days, yet we can still use the tank water for household chores that are usually considered wasteful; washing the car, topping up the kids pool, extra water on the nature strip etc.
Your advice to link the two tanks has tripled our capacity and definitely reduced our reliance on mains water supply. If I had spent the few extra hundred dollars in the very beginning we would have had a big storage supply for years now.
Anyway, thanks again, and bring on the rain!!!
Yours sincerely,
Jenny K.

The Manager,
W.A. Envirosmart Water Tanks.
Regarding my recent decision to install a water tank in our rented property, I must say you were right. It is our tank now and it gives us the freedom to use water when and how we like. More importantly my children are glad we have the tank. It has become part of their lives now and I'm pleased that they are taking an interest in water conservation. It looks like we will be staying here for quite a while so the benefits will only increase over the years. Even though it has been really hot lately we haven't had to use much tap water at all and my three girls understand how important this is. Eventually every house will have to have a water tank so it is good to be one of the first among my friends to be doing the right thing.
Thanks again for the painless job.
Yours sincerely,
Maria Johnson

To WA Envirosmart,
Being an avid gardener my beautiful garden has been sorely affected by the increasing water restrictions. Not only is my garden in full bloom and fabulous, the water bill has substantially decreased and my grandkids think I am the greenest Granny around!
